Met a Nobo who lost his guidebook so I passed on the next 200ish miles I already covered! I was about to toss it at the next town. Trail magic really happens. Found one of those premium camp spots on a night the weather cooperated. Walking lots of ridge lines this section.

Resupplied in Daleville, VA and cell signal has been poor since leaving town. Dodged a thunderstorm approaching McAfee Knob! Had Tinker Cliffs, McAfee Knob, and Dragon tooth all to myself. Starting to pass groups of nobos. 5-10 the past few days.

Met "Old School" on the trail and hiked to the trailhead together. We met a few days back actually. Gave me a lift to Stanimals in Glasgow for the night.
